Family trip to Punta Cana June 2026 with my partner Brian
Welcome visionary!
If this is your first time tuning in, I invite you to relax, pull up to a comfy space to read, and listen in on the past 24 months of a life altering and profound experience that will remind you of how precious life truly is and how the things we take most for granted can be taken away in an instant.
THE BREAKUP NO ONE WAS EXPECTING
When you’ve been living a dream, sometimes we overlook the darkest parts of ourselves and those closest to us.
Since the beginning of Covid, most of you have known of my relationship with my previous partner. As much of a whirlwind fairytale that it was, I was limited in my ability to really understand the gravity of what it means to appreciate someone’s potential, but never really see any progress and action toward’s making those future potentials and plans physically manifest into reality.
When my ex shared with me that he wanted to have biological children, not with me, but with a woman, I was heartbroken, not because I didn’t love this person, but because I invested in the potential of him being the one to build a legacy with.
I lost my ability to be fully seen and appreciated for my gifts in the relationship, and ultimately the split happened because of a divide in creating a solid future together. This was after 5 years of building a business, traveling, and living together nonstop. We rarely got any downtime from one another, so we lost our own individual identities in the process.
I tried supporting someone who had positive hopes, dreams, aspirations, and potential, but I was carrying the weight and burden of delivering in a way that dimmed his and my own light.
The most painful breakup is when you know you’re outshining someone else’s light and the only way for them to rise and grow is for you to fully release them and let them go so that they can shine even brighter and also find their true path and calling.
After a full year of healing, I realized that our ultimate truth can only be created from a space of full conviction.
When doubt, fear, and scarcity creeps in, we invite other people’s energies into the equation and send out mixed signals to the universe with what we actually truly desire.
You either continue daydreaming or dare to live and create the dream into a physical reality. Letting someone go can be the hardest thing we do, but what happens afterwards is always up to you.
THE NEAR-DEATH-EXPERIENCE THAT FOREVER CHANGED MY LIFE
I believe what holds us back the most is our fear of the unknown. That inner critic and judge will hold you back because it wants you to remain stuck exactly where you’ve always been. The courage to be fully you no matter what is going on can be the saving grace that sets into motion the invisible layers of support that have always been there all along. We don’t have to see it first to believe it, but rather, we must become it for that reality to physically land in our bodies and for it to catch up into our outer reality.
What if it doesn’t work out? How will I ever figure out who I want to fully become when all I’ve known is the patterns and pathways of my past?
We can become slaves to a routine and rhythm that feels safe and stable, but is actually slowly deteriorating our soul and is keeping us trapped in a false sense of security.
However, when your life is suddenly taken from you for a split second, you’re thrust into the future of who you are becoming immediately. You enter a cocoon like state that can either hold you victim to your past or rise victoriously to meet the future you. Rather than having two paths to divide and split you apart, you’re only given one path to embrace fully or slowly fade away into what remains.
I’ll spare the graphic details, but my partner Brian had gone through a severe traumatic brain injury because of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident while he was riding his electric scooter back home in the city.
An anonymous individual called 911 after seeing him left for dead on the road in the city and I did not hear back from him until two weeks after his accident. The only reason I knew something was wrong was because his mom and older brother had contacted me directly through his email. Luckily his computer was unlocked so they could message me directly, but when you’re incapacitated, you have no ability to have your phone and personal belongings to communicate directly with family. During those two weeks, I felt his spirit leave this physical plain like he disappeared from the face of the earth.

This is Brian after about 6 weeks in the ICU. He was unable to speak, had no control of his bowel movements, and unable to move his entire right side of his body. He was also originally eating by a nasal feeding tube, and was bed-bound. For a full month, we focused on the basics of sitting up in bed, working to stand as he gained control of his lower body, going to the bathroom, and basic daily routines.
We either choose to become a victim or rise to a greater level of self-discovery and victory over our shortcomings
As Brian’s primary caregiver the past 12 months, I’m humbled and grateful for the smallest things we take for granted. Whether that’s going to the bathroom, speaking and being able to communicate via text or voice, we can lose sight of all these day to day activities we do without even having to think about. Brian essentially had to re-learn how to speak and name random objects around the home and life because of the part of his brain that was affected. He also had to embody what it means to be positive despite something so devastating happening. His old life was taken away from him, but he had a choice to fully become the newest and greatest vibrational version of himself that he was meant to meet all along.
When we even joined a brain injury survivor’s support group, we noticed how many individuals were shattered and broken from not having their previous life back. How we cling to some level of normalcy after a near-death experience challenges the notion that nothing is every permanent. The impermanence of life is what keeps us alive, but also at the same time, grateful to have every single precious present moment in the now. We will never know when that can be instantly taken from us.
As you’re reading this, I invite you to ask yourself what you’ve been taking for granted and what you’re truly grateful for. The fact that we are alive and well is a gift. To be born into this current lifetime can feel extremely painful, but I know that we are uncovering a much greater mystery to become fully what we are meant to be and all of the in-between parts that make us want to give up are still presenting to us all a much greater picture.
When we lose the part of ourselves that we can never get back, we have a choice to remain broken or to believe in something much greater that was never there to begin with. We are constantly emerging to a greater level of self-awareness and love internally so we can celebrate what matters most.
And so Celestial Sound Sanctuary Sunday Circle was born.
Through the power of music, Brian was able to remember lyrics and words he already knew in his heart of hearts. He was unable to remember the names of his family, numbers, dates, his address, phone number, and simple words we learned when we were young. The part of our brain that relies so heavily on thinking and doing does not need a language for music and the power of sound healing vibrationally. Music became the primary medicine and universal language that has brought my partner Brian back to life. Without music, Brian’s recovery would have taken closer to 5-10 years. He’s around 80% fully recovered just after a year, and I am grateful to have more time to dedicate in holding space for whatever you may be going through. Thank you to the team of 14 doctors who helped Brian heal along his journey, we are forever eternally grateful for modern medicine and the ancient wisdom our ancestors already knew would heal the mind, body, and soul holistically as one.
This month is the perfect time to re-commit to the part of your soul that has been yearning to have a voice and that you’ve been delaying. For my over-thinkers, this is a safe space to drop back into your heart and remember who you are at your core beyond all patterns and stories.
